The Department of Turkish and Social Sciences Education offers two master’s programs: Social Studies Education and Turkish Education. A total of 136 students are currently studying in these Turkish medium programs. The aims of the courses in these programs are to raise science experts with professional knowledge and skills and to contribute to the scientific production in the field.
Master's Degree Program in Social Studies Education with/without Thesis :
The Social Studies Education Division has been graduating every year continuously since 2006 when it gave its first graduate within the graduate programs of the Faculty of Education of TOGU.
Master's Degree Program in Turkish Education with Thesis :
The Turkish Teaching Master's Program was established to train Turkish educators who are experts in the field of Turkish education and who have up-to-date knowledge of the field and profession and can use this knowledge for research and teaching purposes. To train Turkish educators who work to improve the quality of education and training, their personal knowledge and skills, and who have the appearance, attitudes, and behaviors that will set an example for society and their students. In addition to raising individuals who are loyal to science, democracy, fundamental freedoms, human rights, scientific and professional ethical values, and who protect their historical and national values, it is aimed to create an exemplary department with its Turkish teachers and scientific contributions to field education.
In the Division of Turkish Education, graduate-level education has been given since the 2013-2014 academic year.
